Annual physicals and preventive care
Yearly physicals, screenings and vaccines that catch problems early, for adults of every age.
Most serious health problems — high blood pressure, diabetes, some cancers — are easier to treat when they’re found early, often before you feel anything. A yearly visit with your primary care doctor is the simplest way to stay ahead of them.
At your physical we review your history, check vital signs, order age-appropriate screenings and update your vaccines. It’s also the time to bring up anything you’ve been meaning to ask about.
Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
If you have Medicare, your Annual Wellness Visit focuses on a personalized prevention plan, a review of your medicines and a check on memory and fall risk. Ask the front desk to book it as a Wellness Visit when you call.
Physicals for work, school and sports
We complete physicals and forms for employment, school and sports. Bring any form you need filled out to your visit.

Questions patients ask
How often should adults get a physical?
Once a year is a good rule for most adults. If you have a long-term condition like diabetes or high blood pressure, your doctor may want to see you more often.
Do I need to fast before my physical?
If we plan to check cholesterol or blood sugar, you may be asked not to eat for 8–12 hours beforehand. The front desk will tell you when you book.
Does insurance cover preventive visits?
Most plans, including Medicare, cover a yearly preventive visit. Call us with your plan and we’ll help you check.
